Why did you join the APCC Associate Board?
As a long-time Albany Park resident, I joined the APCC Associate Board because I wanted to get involved locally with an organization that serves the needs of the refugee and immigrant community. As an immigrant welcomed by the diverse community, I appreciate APCC’s commitment in providing services for community members like ESL for adults, after school programming for kids and early childhood development programs.

Why did you join the APCC Associate Board?
As a current Albany Park neighbor and former Albany Park student at NEIU, I've long admired the APCC for its community advocacy efforts and commitment to being a stalwart resource in our diverse neighborhood. I decided to join because the APCC’s mission to provide educational programming to all skill levels, toddlers to adults, make them vital to a healthy and prosperous community. I’m thrilled to support such an impactful organization.
