As a long-time Albany Park resident, I joined the APCC Associate Board because I wanted to get involved locally with an organization that serves the needs of the refugee and immigrant community. As an immigrant welcomed by the diverse community, I appreciate APCC’s commitment in providing services for community members like ESL for adults, after school programming for kids and early childhood development programs.

As a current Albany Park neighbor and former Albany Park student at NEIU, I've long admired the APCC for its community advocacy efforts and commitment to being a stalwart resource in our diverse neighborhood.
