School Age Child Care Program
After School: Ages 5-12
The Albany Park Community Center (APCC) School Age Child Care program provides care for kindergarten through sixth grade children. This is a year-round program provides after school care during the school year and full day care during the winter, spring and summer breaks. Designed to help entire families, it provides a safe setting for children to engage in a variety of social, recreational and educational activities. The program actively engages with various organizations to provide diverse activities.
Our current partners are New Trier High School Science teachers & students, Junior Achievement, Center for Students Missions, and Price Water Cooper.
Nutritious meals and snacks are provided for the children. APCC participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which provides federal funds to help cover the costs.

Eligibility & Languages
Income eligibility requirements must be met to qualify for the Head Start and Child Care Assistant Program (CCAP). Private tuition is accepted when space is available. For details regarding eligibility requirements please call a center above.
Albany Park Community Center staff speak the following languages: Spanish, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Polish, Tagalog, and Urdu.
